Nutrition Plan

Eating right is essential for optimal performance. Selecting the right types of food, in the right amounts and knowing when to east and why is critical to long-term success and health. Eating right not only provides the body with the fuel it needs to train, but also the materials it need to repair the body after a workout. I have put together a website that provides information on what I call the “6 x 6 Nutrition Plan”. It is designed for older athletes, but the concepts can be introduced to younger swimmers as well.
